I voted independent in 2016 because I thought Trump was a blowhard narcissist and Hillary was a corrupt weasel.

Turns out, Trump has been 10x more effective than I expected (although you wouldn't know that by listening to the MSM). The economy is humming. He's re-jiggering trade agreements so they are more fair. He dropped the individual mandate for Obamacare and made other options available. He's cut thousands of regulations that have hamstrung businesses. He got rid of the Duluth model of domestic violence and replaced it with something more realistic. He's made important improvements in border security, including getting Mexico to finally help out. He's gotten the military built up, stopped the "apology tour" that just weakened us, and at the same time has reduced tensions in N. Korea and is pulling us out of wasteful wars.

And he's funny, too. He's enjoying himself. Plastic straws and cat videos with sharpies, lol. I love how he just doesn't seem to care about political correctness or trying to court media favor. PC culture and the MSM are like authoritarian robot lemmings. It's so nice to see someone not bowing down to them, laughing at them. Good for him.

I'll happily vote for him in 2020, assuming something catastrophic does not happen. He's had some problems, but he's been a surprisingly effective president, so far. I think it's because he has real world experience in actually getting shit done, rather than playing the usual political games.
