I always say pills should be the last resort. Just need to wait it out. We are so used to instant gratification that we want everything now. A quick fix. No one has patience anymore.

Knew a friend who went on anti depressents and is even more miserable now. Why did he get on it? His GF dumped him so he went to a shrink.

Not too long ago I got super busy and stopped eating clean. Junk food 24/7. Got shit loads of acne on my forehead. Went to a derm, she just wrote me down some antibiotics and shit loads of meds. I asked her not to give me pills but check the underlining cause of the issue. She pretended not to hear my suggestion. Went home. Changed my diet - sad part was giving up wheat and dairy. Started fasting and exercising. 2 weeks down and my face is clearer than a babies butt. Turns out I'm mildly allergic to gluten and dairy. Fuck doctors. Fuck women. Fuck society.

I was on ADHD meds when it was the thing to do. I am 27 and cannot remember my highschool years. I have vague ideas of what happened thanks to pictures but outside of that my memory is fucked. There is a memory gap as I said, 12-18 so 6 years. It is a fucking sham. My father said I never needed the meds, but my mother pushed em on me. Having little to no choice at that age resulted in memory loss and it effects me until this day. I really cannot remember dates to save my life. Even my birthday, I know some will nay say but I look at my driver's license Everytime I'm asked for it.

I personally do not think that the people in control are that smart (just look at how Europe doomed itself). They probably just drug them up to avoid trying to fix the issues with modern society.

Where men have no good role models, cannot really get anywhere due to crony capitalism, single mothers raising men without knowing what masculinity is and men being hated and abused to the point of suicide.

Better to just drug them up so they go a little further then five up fhe power to fix the real issues.

He're a some food for thought.....My friend works at a cram school(look this shit up if you're near Asians), and he reports that kids there are taking Psy-meds like candy.

Why? Because teachers wouldn't be held accountable by bureaucracy for their "bad teachings" if your kids are diagnosed with mental illness. Many teachers would heavily "recommend" parents to take their kids to a shrink for "aggressive behavior", "compulsory whatever" until the doctor got tired of the shit and prescript the kid for being "mentally challenged" with meds to prove it so that teachers doesn't have to give a shit since your kid's "crazy".

I’m the oldest of three boys. My youngest brother was always more active, outgoing and rambunctious than my middle brother and I (still typical boy behaviour). Even in the late 80s/early 90s, all the teachers at our elementary school were telling my mom to put him on Ritalin. She basically told them to fuck off and that he was not “hyperactive” nor did he have an “attention deficit” - he was just less willing to sit and be quiet in class than my middle brother and I. Meanwhile my aunt put my cousin on it and I see how it impacted him (negatively).

Fast forward a few years, and my mom decided to go back to school and become an early years teacher. You can be sure she never ever suggested to a parent they put their boy on Ritalin. (She’d never admit it but I think she decided to do it in part because she thought she could do a better job ha ha.)

Oh and my brother the “ADHD kid” ended up getting three degrees and now works with special needs students.

Christina Hoff Summers’ “The War Against Boys” needs to be given to all new parents of baby boys when they leave the hospital.

I was put on ADD meds, then in JR high I was put on Resperdal to help with the compultion issues brought on by the ADD meds, then I became zombie like, so they put me on Zoloft. As soon as I was 18 I stopped taking all of them, and felt so much better. I gained so much weight and was the 2nd tallest kid in school (5ft 10 in 7th grade) then I just stopped growing.

Adderall user here. Not gonna lie, a big part of why I use Adderall is to turn myself into a zombie and kill my emotions. Having no emotions is the biggest part of me being efficient. Woman definitely modified my behavior since my mother is who put me on Adderall years ago so that "I would act right".
