Hi, this is my first time posting on TRP, and I would like to start off by saying that I found The Red Pill through one of those lists on google which discussed some of the most controversial reddit pages. I did not come here in search of how to get girls, how to improve game, how to improve myself, but swallowing the pill has indeed led to all of those things. I have noticed a number of changes in myself that I would like to share with everyone.
I imagine it's been nearly a year or so since I discovered this sub. I'd seen lots of people bashing the ideologies and attitudes proposed here, but my curiosity led me to examine and analyze things here myself rather than close-mindedly accept that people here are selfish misogynists or sexists. Did some of the ideas seem absurd to me at first? Yes, I think that's natural for any outsider coming into this sub, but that didn't hinder me from reading into things.
I found it interesting but slightly distasteful that this sub was all about how to manipulate women and strategise in terms of game for picking up girls (which is what people claimed this to be), but as an open-minded individual who appreciates stepping away from status-quo, I continued to dig deeper, and soon learned that TRP is much more than just getting with women. TRP is a community that strives for SELF-IMPROVEMENT, which goes hand-in-hand with attracting women. I learned women are most attracted to men whose endeavours are focused around themselves and becoming the best version of themselves. Furthermore, the theories proposed here started to make sense to me - my experiences and observations of relationships with women clarified this, as I now thought of everything in a different light to realize how women truly act (the AWALT theory, of which there are only few exceptions). Hence, I decided to swallow the pill, and have become an avid reader of theories and field reports here. I had began a journey of weight loss and self improvement quite a while prior to discovering TRP, and overall it motivated me to strive for my physique and aesthetic goals even more.
A year later, there have been various changes I have noticed. Whether one considers these changes in my attitude, behaviour, success with women, success in life and treatment of women good or bad, is opinion based, but nonetheless they happened.
Lifting, aesthetics, lifestyle - TRP motivated me to lift and pack on more muscle than I had planned initially, and also to burn more fat and get to a lower body fat %. There is no reason for you not to strive to be the most aesthetic version of yourself, and the red pill literally grounded this fact for me. I am STILL not done, the journey of self-improvement does not end, it only grows, and each day you are better than you were yesterday. I adopted a lifestyle of intermittent fasting, hitting the gym 5-6x a week, and all these changes came from a desire within, contributed by TRP. Having a good, aesthetic physique is naturally an intimidating factor, because its what women desire and makes other men/competition envious of you.
Criticism - I have become more critical of other people. One can consider this good and one can consider this as bad, but its a change thats happened and I haven't been able to control it. When I see people following the track of self improvement, I respect them, but those who continue going about their ways I kind of look down upon. Having an aesthetic physique now, that I never dreamed of years ago, I am critical of other people's bodies, male or female, and their dietary choices and lifestyle.
Success with women - so, I was never particularly 'bad' at getting with girls, but I wasn't necessarily great at it either. I also used to fall for girls a lot more, but this BP mindset faded away as I began to focus on getting my shape, routine and diet in check, even before finding TRP. However, the success with women has skyrocketed since, which is attributed to both my improved looks and improved mindset. But it goes beyond just the looks too - women have been attracted to attributes like my music skills (play guitar + sing), intelligence, and general confidence within myself - they just noticed them more after the massive improvement in frame. Girls that I have been platonic friends with have started to want to hook up with me - I don't even hook up with most of them, it really depends on my mood and what I see in those friendships. My female friends who are relatively unattractive I have denied hard, but even some of the hot ones I've had to reject just because I value the friendships a lot. A couple of really hot ones I fucked the living shit out of, though. It was fun, one time, and things have maintained fine - one of them even had a boyfriend (still does!). Proper self-improvement does wonders with women.
Grades - focusing on myself and self improvement has had profound outcomes on my grades in school. I'm in college, studying pre-med with a vision of becoming a doctor. My grades were never poor, but I found that they certainly didn't reflect my best performance, and TRP influenced me to strive for greatness and work harder, and not just in terms of the gym and physique. I had a 3.6 and 3.8 GPAs for the last two semesters in college, with some very challenging subjects. Im not trying to brag here, Im just saying TRP has attributed to more success outside of girls and looks.
Treatment of women - now, here's where things are interesting. The way I treat girls is similar to how I treat guys. I will respect women, Ive been raised to do that, BUT ONLY IF THEY DESERVE IT. Here's context- my mother is an accomplished physician, she went to an all girls public school in Pakistan but ended up doing her masters at Harvard, and has done extremely well for herself. She consistently stresses on the importance of working and earning, and that there's no easy way around it. She never really cucked onto my dad, she was self-sufficient and thats what my father found attractive about her. Furthermore, she criticizes women who don't work and calls them lazy or unmotivated. Taking influence from her and TRP, I will respect women who deserve to be respected. The girls I've fucked in college have been typical cuckholders, trying to get things out of the guys like leeches, and I straight up next the fuck out of them because those kind of girls do not deserve my respect. And when I next those girls and they deem me a 'fuckboy', I'll simply respond by saying 'I don't give a shit what you think of me, you are irrelevant and your statements are irrelevant' - and I swear this shit hits them hard at home. Don't bother respecting someone who doesn't deserve your respect.
Mindset - in terms of mindset, I have adopted this very anti-relationship attitude for myself thanks to TRP. I have friends in relationships, and while I don't say anything to them because they are my friends, it usually ends in sadness for them because they are so stuck up on this idea of one perfect girl. Instead, I avoid relationships, avoid 'feelings', and really just try to not even lead girls on. Nonetheless, girls will try to take things further, which is when I give them the unfortunate next. Being in college, and having a long road ahead of me, I cannot be hindered by some bullshit relationships, and a lot of girls end up hating me for how I 'used them' despite the fact that some of them decided to fuck me on the day they met me. Like bitch, if I were even going to date someone, do you actually think it'd be someone like you? The mindset change might have been the most substantial one, because it's what has allowed me to properly prioritise myself and my endeavours of success over anyone and anything else. One of the tough things has been to stay quiet around some of my BP friends, because I'm not going to violate the rules of TRP and talk about it outside the community.
Apologies for the long post, I just thought I should share this and contribute something to a community I've been following for a while and has brought some great changes to my life. TLDR; TRP has caused a variety of changes in me since I began following, including change in lifestyle, aesthetics, mindset, success with women, treatment of women, performance in school. Whether all the changes are good or bad, is subject to opinion, and in mine, they've all been very welcome changes.
