Can someone explain wtf "mentoring" is? I see this all the time but I've never mentored anyone. How do you not "mentor" women? Is it like job training?

The only time I've seen mentoring as a thing was that "Big Brothers, Big Sisters" program my step-brother was in, and the kid he got was a doofus.

Not “afraid”, just lacking the trust necessary to do it. You cannot prepare a person for senior management if you are too busy analyzing your every word and action for the possibility of inflicting offense. It just doesn’t work that way. Lol, this remind me that right now I am having a big trouble in my company. The manager is a woman, and wants to meddle with everything, but the worse part is that she is so entitled that she doesn't seems to understand how to read people reactions. Every single client that I bring to the store avoid us because of her, so now one big client literally complain to the corporation about her, and now it seems that I will have to do her job and also mine.

This week one of the directives will visit us to check, so I will drop the bomb, I will leave the job or do something to her, it is not fair that she will earn the same commission while doing nothing. If nothing then I will have to leave.
