I did a similar experiment and it was clear to me what the problem of using social media to date was. I do blame women for exploiting it to the point of abuse. The reality is they get 100x more offers based solely on the fact that they’re women which just outlines the problem of dating in the first place-meaning it’s really not society, women, or social media to blame because going to a bar would yield the same results.

You need to stop correlating matches and messages by men to a successful encounter. Message coming from male is much less indicative of genuine interest than the one coming from female. What I noticed after decade of online dating is that men are keen on meeting as many women as possible in real life for first date, even those they don't really like (why, is beyond me). These men then make selection after first date after which many women fall of the wheel. Then they have meaningless sex with some women and date longterm even less women.
