As I understand it the price is based on the cost of electricity to mine crypto and the demand for it. Depending on the circumstances I don't think a recession would affect the cost of electricity enough to influence the value. I'm not sure what would happen to the demand though. If in the recession a major state sponsored currency had a currency crisis then I would expect the demand for crypo to sky rocket. Note that the value of the USD is based on the faith in the US economy. I'm not a financial analyst though.

The price is based on how many people with some money get scammed by this Ponzi scheme.
It's not used as a currency, it's not an investment and if shit goes south where cash is not usuable you can't expect to have electricity or a working internet available to use them.

I would say those laws were just right up until about the time that a statistically significant portion more women were graduating college than men. If you can think of a more objective measure of equal opportunity I'm all ears. Based on that premise, if a woman (or man for that matter) chooses not to pursue a career, and in instead be a dependent, that's their choice and they can deal with the consequences if they choose to get divorced years down the road. Statistics also show that women in their early '20s make more money than men do these days too. So...equality achieved if not surpassed. It's time to update our laws accordingly.

The audit happens at the time the divorce proceedings begin.
If he gives all his wealth away to charity and trades his six figure job for a job at McDonald's, then his current assets at the time of the audit are nil and his current income at the time of the audit is negligible. Therefore the benefits awarded to the divorcing wife, as a percentage of his overall, will also be negligible.
Of course that means having no assets or income yourself, making it the financial equivalent of that Samurai move where they stabbed themselves in the gut to stab their opponent.
I’m about to do that, quitting my job, in NY and getting a low paying job, she and her new unemployed husband after 4 months of divorce can pay health care and Uni. I had it all covered worth hundreds of thousands to my two kids. she’s telling the judge that I don’t contribute when she puts my kids through programs and activities that I never knew about or sanctioned, she got 2.5 k a month and the lease on the new car is about expire another 600 a month. So it really would only be a small window, but any good options are better than none. The business I run one of our facets is quick international money exchange that is verified so as to stay legitimate. Best part is how quick and efficient we operate due to our resources. By the time papers got served any money put in for transfer is already exchanged and waiting in predetermined bank account in any selected country.
I might do a trial run with this idea. Ironically enough a buddy of mine thinks he might be getting served papers, nothing started yet. So I am gonna consult some specialists and sew what can be done.
