Weak/provider and missing father also means different things for communication.

Weak/provider fathers can leave a legacy of a girl with a very strong frame, meaning an unwillingness to submit to mistakes. Her communication skills will exceed understanding of stable male female relationships.

Absent fathers, rather,leave a legacy of a girl without a model for male behavior as well as a moral compass to guide. This makes them vulnerable to defining right and wrong on your terms (a good thing if you know what makes you happy). Daddy’s little princess will need genuine reassurance more often than not.

I dated a category 3 for a bit and it was the best sex I ever had. She loved getting slapped, face shoved in the pillow, and choked. She even thanked me for "taking charge" and said she had a really good time. The girl was a bit of an over-achiever and one of the more intelligent ones in her friend group-divorced parents.

I was with a girl at my University for about 6 months who had a drug-addict father who was in-and-out of rehab and would steal money from her a bunch. She was also molested when she was younger. As of now, she blacks out almost every time she drinks, does coke a bunch and just lives life incredibly recklessly. She's also dirty as fuck and supposedly bi-polar (she told me when I ran into her a few months ago). I'd put her in category 4.

We were never officially in a relationship but she told me she loved me, wanted to marry me and have my kids about one month into us basically just banging and going out to bars together. I was a little stunned, saw all the red flags and eventually just told her we should stop seeing each other. So, yeah, category 4? Avoid like the plague.

It's too bad, though. She had a really good heart and I felt for her. I know she wants more from her life and she's so smart and talented, but her reckless nature only keeps her going backwards. She was a solid 9 when I got with her, but by the end of it the alcohol added the pounds and she became a 6-7. And it's only going to get worse. Can't save everyone, I suppose.

So bloody true. And the reason why your little daughter is just like your wife is because she unconsciously starts to imitate her. I once saw on the road a mum with a pram, with her little second child in it and beside her was her little first daughter, also with a toy pram following alongside her. If your wife is doing it correctly, your daughter will begin to imitate all the right things she’s doing.

Thanks for the post, good reading, kind of superficial on the 4th category tho, would enjoy reading some deeper thoughts about that one.

On a side note, it always amazes me how much of an impact you can and will have on the kids you're rising, even if they're not yours. Got me thinking on how many people is so superficial about the decision of becoming a parent, and do it without any compromise with the sanity and future of their child, their own lineage. Well, then again, most people is not very smart... :/

Good God this is insightful. I've always seen a clear distinction in woman's behavior's and shit testing but this was my missing piece. I came from nearly no family at all but thinking back on the house holds off female friends and this all lines up too true.

Got an ltr with a cat 1. Hard working blue collar father. Seems to be pretty accurate description especially about having to be careful to give them approval. I grew up not caring too much what people thought so it was difficult at first to make sure I was complimenting her.

Not sure I agree that men without a father figure are looking for one. I grew up without one as the oldest male in the house from age 15 on I had to become that figure at an early age.

I had a LTR with a category 1. We were really doing great, behaving just like you described OP. Her father is a very masculine man. She looked up to me for leadership, for approval and so forth. It all went downhill when I started to become insecure, indecisive and lose my frame. I also started to critize her a lot, and one thing I did to her was the nail in the coffin and we then broke up.

Category 1 must be treated just like a daughter at all times. You don't go on rejecting and critizing your daughter when she's not doing fine in life. You might tell her how disappointed you are in case she's not working her ass to get out of that situation, but if she's trying her best and facing difficulties, it's your job as her man, as her "supplant daddy" to support and encourage her.

Lesson learned.

Guys like this are fucking pathetic. I think this type is the most common. Most fathers are extremely overprotective of their daughters. Curious that you don't see that fanatical over-protectiveness from mothers towards their sons.

In all of your examples, women are looking for the same thing, Security. I subscribe to the simple belief that women are emotional and men are rocks (low emotion), women attach to the man as a form of security for their emotions.

Using your types though, it's a matter of finding a good quality woman worth being a rock for. It always has been.
