This is on the fringe of TRP, but it seems consistent to me.

TRP is basically the realization that women can't be completely trusted not to defect. As such, rather than hoping to win approval through supplication, a TRP guy will constrain the choices of women around him to be more favorable to him. "Leave" and "do what I want" were already choices, but "keep me around and treat me like shit" is now off the menu. It's important to note that this is enforced by, well, force---you don't ask a girl to release you or whatever, you just leave.

With children, "leave" is not an option---or at least, not an option you can allow them to take---so you're left with punishment. A child's choices should be limited to "Obey" or "Be punished."

Note that this doesn't necessarily require you to be extremely strict, just very disciplined. A hard (as in, breaking it leads to Consequences) curfew of 10 would be more effective than a soft curfew of 9. The important thing is the strength of the rules, not how draconian they are.

Some people might look at my "obey or be punished" dichotomy and think it could lead to abuse. "No parent should punish their child!" Well, maybe---but at some point, reality will punish them. Best that they learn good habits early. And frankly who better to punish them than their parents? Who loves you more, your parents who freak out when you're home fifteen minutes late, or the State, who says, "Do whatever you want---unless we find a few ounces of weed on you after your 18th birthday, then it's five years in the clink"?

hopefully i can bring light onto the subject. i was an unplanned pregnancy, my mother was 19 and my father 20. i however was not in most people situations when it comes to young parents. my mother came from a wealthy and educated family and my fathers family was as well not wealthy but were very educated as well. the women in my family were a much greater influence in my life for the simple fact that almost all the men in my family had died (except my father and bluepill uncle).

i was well educated through private schooling and an important aspect i believe that had a lot to do with my upbringing was that my parents never tried to be together when i was born.

My mother was taught to be a lady by my grandmother but not a stay at home wife. my mom was my full time caretaker to me until i was about 8 then she got a job making around 90k at nordtroms. who also (i have no idea if this had an effect on the way i was raised had an abusive drunk of a father). My fathers father died when he was 12 which led to my father becoming the most hard working independent human being i had ever met. he abandoned his engineering degree to work as a carpenter making about 50k a year.

my parents apparently were brats as children and made a decision to make sure i was not one. i was taught at a very early age how to act out in public and at the dinner table. by 3 i was chewing with my mouth closed and knew acting out would lead to trouble and doing well meant getting anything i desired. my favorite thing about my parents is that they never forced there beliefs on me. for example the subject was never brought up to me until i was like 14. my parents never talked about it so naturally i became a non believer. the best example was my mother. when i got older she told me about the abuse she received and it hurt me. it made me sad and angry that these things happen. but something she never told me? dont hit a woman. my parents rearly told me what to do or not they left me to figure it out on my own. they taught me things. i was never told not to stick my hand in an electrical outlet i was taught about electricity and then my father said touch it. i refused. i tried to steal a pencil from the school store (my logic was we pay 20k a year i deserve this) i was turned around and given a pat down from the teacher in front of my fellow 1st graders. i will not steal again. as far as im concerned teach your children manners and how to speak for themselves and give them knowledge. i flourished and hopefully yours will too. ill elaborate on anything if need be

Thanks for the responses.. I was expecting something different. As a practicing Catholic there are some issues I have with a lot of TRP philosophy but there is much that I agree with. I think that a home with one father and one mother is best for children, and wanted to see what y'all thought on that. Thanks

I'm young, 26 years old, so I'm not in a huge rush to have kids. Incidentally, the girlfriend suddenly wants a puppy, which is like step one to developing baby-rabies, but I'm moving her out and I fucked another girl last night...

But I digress. Personally, my plan is to homeschool for STEM subjects and have the worlds most submissive wife. Ideally I'd find a few red pill dudes with kids who want to do the same and then cycle the kids around to learn useful stuff.

Why? There's no way I'm sending my kids to a state-run school to be Ritalin-ed and taught feminist multiculturalism. If I'm taking on the risks that having kids entails, I'm doing it right.

And from there, discipline, sure. It's a lot easier when dad's in charge. Teenagers? I'll teach the boys red pill stuff and not let the girls sleep around.

Most importantly though is ensuring that they don't get lazy and stupid and that they have the skills to get a good job in our future automated economy. I don't mind if my daughter is a slut, really, so long as she's a rich slut who can pay for her unemployed dad...
