Who makes a video that doles text out line by line? I already hate the video medium for blogging, but this is absurd.

As for the manosphere, I think we'll be just fine. I don't know if you noticed, but around these parts we're not exactly getting softer. The main staple blogs are all single author or staffed by authorized people only.

This is something women are very good at - if they want a man, they try to figure out what he wants in a woman and then they mold themselves into that woman. Sluts will turn into blushing ingenues, and virgins will turn into slutty bitches, depending on what (they think) the handsomest man in their social circles wants. the MRA subreddit seems to be damaged and cynical guys, who want to believe that men and women are equals. they believe the world should be fair.

i just think its naive. it reads like the british redcoats marching in honorable lines against the american rebels who are using guerilla tactics.

at this point... the feminized political agenda is the status quo, and debating it using the old rules is asking to be worn out over a period of attrition. undermining and rejecting to participate in the system is my suggestion and plan.

First off... While I love women (annoying, destructive and childish though most of them are), they suuuuure love drama, and this chick is no exception. On some level, she's probably going "OMG, I don't like the way those MGTOWs are influencing MY men, so I must discredit them ASAP! Because they're MINE!"

MGTOWs are, by all accounts, supposed to GO THEIR OWN WAY, yet many MGTWs subscribe to the SAME "PHILOSOPHY"...

Well... To paraphrase it, when someone says "crimson and vermilion aren't the same color", I reply "but they're still shades of red".

Being independent is not the same as "being alone" or "being unique". To be independent is to be self supporting as far as it is possible, and to be as free from the direct control of others as possible, especially when it comes to life choices.

It is also about "being free from influence". This bit is easily misinterpreted. Not being free from someone else's influence implies lack of self determination, and that the influence in question may or may not be in line with your best interests and values. It is imposed on you.

If you are independent, and you determine that you like certain ideas and you adapt them for your own use, you are, in effect, permitting influence, which is pretty much like influencing yourself.

Independent people are free to choose their ideologies and philosophies. Being independent is NOT the same as having no philosophy or ideology.

Besides, by her argument, you can't be independent in a democracy, since you vote for parties (or individuals) with both ideologies and leaders. If we spin this further, you're back to the stone age in no time, and as we go further, we're caught in a solipsistic loop through infinite regression.

I get the impression from watching woolybumblebee's vids and reading what she's written that while she may be able to recognize intellectual honesty in others, she can't bring herself to practice it that much. Most of her arguments sounded no better structured than anything Lindy West prints, just from an MRA perspective. I would venture a guess that Kristina is someone not unlike Lindy in terms of professional drive, but very different in terms of perspective held. This says to me that it isn't that feminism is infiltrating in some fashion, more likely it's just that there's a lot of people out there like Lindy who are truly mediocre, but are given voices in prominent places.

To Kristina if you're reading this and I'm offending you: I appreciate that you "Get it" in terms of how men have been treated in the past 20 years. But your ability to craft an argument well has never been demonstrated to me. In fact you seem to get yourself in to trouble with hyperbole more often than not. Also, please stop using capital letters for emPHAsis.
