I live in an area that's quite the melting pot of different nationalities. I was out to dinner with some friends and got to talking to this Brazilian woman that's been living in this country for a few years.

She's probably in her mid-50s, but still attractive. She's a divorcee', so she has her marital green card from her previous husband.

Anyway, she told me how she's noticed how American's are very wierd about the whole touchy-feely thing. And I was like "yeah esp. since this whole #MeToo movement"

She thought it was ridiculous.

She said when you're in Brazil, everyone is approachable, talkative, even to strangers. Kisses on the cheek, etc. She works at an airport as a translator, and when she was talking to some Brazilians...they didn't know she was Brazilian herself...at first, so they were acting as they would around "Americans"...respectful of their personal space.

When they found out she was Brazilian, the walls went down completely...and they were touchy feely, very nice and friendly, etc.

You see, we're missing that with our American women here. You touch 'em, you can now have your name attached to #MeToo on Facebook.

I think the #MeToo bandwagon is pretty much the tipping point of an unloving country. I think there is even some hate attached to #MeToo. Thoughts on this?
