.......they never bothered to learn that a majority of revenue, in an already extremely profitable business, comes from internet and television viewers. It's a much safer bet to get rid of all cheer leaders and dance squads for every team.

When watching on tv, they usually have a shot of the cheerleaders either going into or coming out of commercial breaks. Now that I look back on recent years, I have been seeing fewer and fewer of these shots. I’m sure tv producers don’t want to be accused of sexism or whatever and if a shot does make it through on air, the announcers ain’t gonna say jack shit because then they’ll be accused of something as well.
