In 2 years I will be 40. For the first time in my adult life, I can honestly say I’m happy. Through a lot of work, patience and tough decisions, I am living comfortably. My job is solid. My apartment is nice. I have plenty of free time and disposable income. I have a great group of family and friends. No wife or gf or kids. Just the way I like it. I think I have been mgtow all my life, even when I was chasing girls in my younger years. Ultimately, it never felt worth it. I am a lot happier at home messing around with my hobbies than I ever was going to clubs and parties trying to get laid. Like most men, I am just fine on my own.

And that’s the problem with MGTOW.

See, it makes no difference to me if I live this way the rest of my life. I will generally be happy and comfortable because I don’t need much. Good food. A good book. A few beers and a joint. No drama. No toxic people. No lies. I am not under the assumption that one person checking out is going to doom society. But a thousand guys like me? A million? Now you have a problem. Because these men aren’t building cities. Curing cancer. Raising sons.

And nobody else can.

Feminism has taken away the role of the father and replaced it with conformity, consumerism and instant gratification media. There are no rewards for men who work hard and sacrifice, beyond simple rewards anyway. These days, the less a man participates in modern society, the happier he is likely to be. Like me.

But for the entire history of our species, men where engineered to be builders and protecters. In fact, men who did not participate found themselves exiled from the tribe. The same was true for women. A woman who was noisy and complaining and didn’t contribute would wake up one morning to find the tribe had abandoned her to die alone in the wilderness.

Today, my tax dollars prevent women from experiencing the consequences of their own poor choices while at the same time pay for the prisons that ensure that men still do. More and more men are waking up to this. Do just enough to provide for yourself and you can live happy and make your own choices.

I won’t be back. Guys like me aren’t coming back. It isn’t worth it. And the world will pay a price for it.

The problem with MGTOW isn't that men are unhappy alone. The problem is the vacuum we have be forced to leave behind.

spez: and for the record, I'm no incel or virgin or misogynist. Quite the opposite in fact. I love women and I enjoy sex. I am just not prepared to sacrifice my happiness for the sake of a broken system.
