I see this as a step forward.

Just last year, all talk of sex robots revolved around the "disturbing fact" that they will turn men into vicious sexual predators, and increase violence against women.

Today's man who owns a sex robot isn't a violent sexual predator. He is, in a sense, too pathetic to be predatorial. He has gone from "dangerous" to merely "sad".

I actually think it is sad. Sad that our western culture has gotten to this stage where women have become not worth the combined costs. Things have changed and men are adapting. It is the modern day equivalent of voting with your feet. Instead of blaming and shaming, perhaps some introspection is in order. Otherwise, keep to the course and see where you end up.
