Think I've seen her in the past and if I remember her correctly then she was making the point (at the time) that the Supreme Court ruled in a case back in the early 1910's that stated it had the right to send any man to war through the draft process. The reasoning behind this, the court said, was that by allowing men the right to vote and by virtue of that, granting men participation in federal government process, the trade off was that the government could demand that any man go to war via the draft.

Women, a few years later, we granted the right to vote without having to make the same trade-off/sacrifice.

Using the Supreme Court's logic against it then, she's basically saying that until you make young women eligible for the draft, they shouldn't have the right to vote either, just like the men. Until women were made to make the same sacrifices as men, then they shouldn't be able to vote.

Her argument, therefore, is not really about the vote, but about making the draft apply to everyone equally, or getting rid of it. The original court case was because some men were arguing that the draft was unconstitutional and didn't want to go to war- so the court said what it did. She's using the same logic as the courts to demonstrate the hypocrisy.

At least that's what I remember her saying a few years ago.
