When I was in college I was attracted to a girl who wasn't exactly skinny, but fairly athletic and taut. She wasn't interested in me though; I was disappointed at the time. 25 years later I see her, she's fat with gray hair, dressed like a slob. Some women age really badly.

I saw an ex of a couple years ago. Like the rest of the stories she was moving into Shamu weight class and had a rugrat. She walked with me to the parking lot to 'chat'. I was polite but didn't engage. She continued to follow until I got in my Porsche and her jaw hit the ground as she watched me wave and drive off laughing.

I remember seeing my son's mother after not having seen her for more than ten years. She had popped out child the fourth, and she was mid 30's. She was five feet tall in every direction it seemed.

They just don't get it. They are so self absorbed that they dont see what the wall has done to those that are older than them and too vain to think it's gonna happen to them... til it does. Kids puts the process into overdrive. I had a relationship with a woman who resented the fact that her child (never messing with single moms ever again) messed her previously "perfect" body up and taking away her freedom. She wanted me to suffer with her, only I didn't have any of those problems as the kid wasn't mine, she became jealous, resentful and insecure towards me as well. What an idiot, instead of making life easier to keep me around she made it worse. I left her before the kid got too attached. She lost her mind over it

I see my ex- every so often. We still have family gatherings together, which is great because we have great kids and a wonderful granddaughter. However, I can tell that my ex- has gained a lot of weight, while I have been able to lose some. It also bugs her that I can go out hiking in the woods on the many trails in the area. It has become my new pleasure that fills me with freedom and peace of mind. I can tell that it bothers her because she says I shouldn't do it because I might get attacked by a bear.

We're obviously not married anymore and she is still trying to ruin my fun and my hobbies.

for me I thought of the wall as being an equalizer and vicarious revenge but in some respects I'm just indifferent to women and the wall rather than taking some joy in it; I take joy in the things I enjoy doing and that is all I can do :)

That's funny. I've always been attracted to slightly chubby women, mainly the full thighs/slim waist/flat stomach type (because South American born and raised). Only after 10yrs I realized part of the reason for this is that I wanted to see early on how/where they get fat when they do (because most will), just to avoid the upside down pear shaped figure (fat neck and belly, wide waist, and thin legs. Because I find the combination, especially the thin thighs really really gruesomely horrible and a libido killer for me, even regardless of personality etc. I know, I'm a little weird
