Just because women with standards want their meal paid for doesn’t mean we’re out looking for a free meal. You clearly haven’t read the handbook. We can all perfectly well afford our own meals, if you’d like the reasoning as to why men should pay check the handbook.

Huh? We explicitly say that we should expect a dinner date on the first date at least, if not for the several first dates.

Also, don't go dutch.

Read the handbook. Dinner dates are the preferred norm in FDS, especially for first dates. Going Dutch is not. HVM will be generous enough to pay for the dinner; someone who is afraid of women taking them for a ride over one measly dinner is LVM.

The handbook wants us to vet and then have a sit down dinner date at a nice restaurant... we don't do drink dates / netflix and chill hangouts here.

Also remember a date needs to have: the specified place/restaurant + the day + the time +given in advance not last minute = a date.
