They had a season of survivor, where it was men vs women. On the mens island, everybody worked to get their camp as good as possible, so then they could relax on the beach, knowing they had food, a good place to sleep and didn't have to worry.

On the womens island, nothing was done but bickering and fighting and nobody would step up and take leadership and nothing was done. They kept on whining and talking to the camera about they were looking forward to getting men in the camp so they had somebody who would do something about the horrific situation.
