Things like "creep shaming," the "dirty old man," the "stranger danger," and all of that sort of thing have made the man into an object of threat and terror, good only to transact in a formal, strictly utilitarian manner at a great distance.

This is not a good basis for friendship.

A woman who has no friends is a woman who needs a friend, on the presumption that "women are wonderful" and that her friendlessness is a moral injustice that needs rectification..

A man who has no friends is a man who deserves to have no friends, on the presumption that, if he wasn't deranged, he would already have them, and so his friendlessness is presumed morally just.

That is why this problem is far more complicated than expert, highly paid media writers from the Boston Globe don't understand.

Loneliness is a state of mind, man. I'll be the first to tell you I only have 4-5 friends, the same crew I rolled with as kids. We all live in different places, can only see everyone a couple times a year. Sounds like I should be lonely, right? Well I'm not. I have my work, my dogs, and my hobbies to get me along. Sure there are times where I do feel lonely, but that's namely because I want to go do something at that specific time and no one is available. So, I go and do what I want on my own, a party of one, and oddly enough I don't feel lonely after.

The language used by researchers and the medical community is "isolation". Not loneliness or aloneness or however you want to split hairs. Its not something not to be underestimated and when you look at how weak men and women commit their version of aggression (passive-aggression), the end goal is always the same; to socially isolate you.

Loneliness is something you get over when you realize you have your own future ahead of you, and not some suggestible woman's future that you're giving up your life for that she isn't grateful for.

After I got past that initial phase and came to understand what I was indoctrinated into believing that I wanted in my bluepill life, I came to love my freedom. Current society is fucked, and the only place you're going to find a partner that's worth effort is in media love stories.

The government took away any dependency men & women needed from on another, and what do you know? That love shit turned out to be fake when it really came down to if it existed, or not.

You're not going to get meaningful expression from the minds of people that have been trained from childhood to be little more than desk jockeys, or lever pullers.

"Human" is a quality that, at its most noble approach, is art. At its lowest, statistics.

Whatever soul or heart mankind held, it's been lost to profit.

I spent the majority of the weekend alone. I spent time with mates online and then caught up with some other Saturday.

At one point on Sunday night I felt a bit bummed, but that was only because I thought of work briefly.

The only time I have felt real loneliness was in a long term relationship.

You're only "lonely" if you choose to be. I have tons of friends, a great family, and a good amount of acquaintances.

These people are more loyal than any clam ever was, or ever could be. I can be MYSELF, and not have to worry about playing a million tactical mind games.

This article is all just fear tactics, and trying to scare men back onto the plantation.

And I'll also add, as a former baseball player, and someone that still follows the game closely, I have the BEST time going to a game by myself.

OK, let's cut to the chase.

First of all, women are FOREVER complaining about being depressed and/or lonely. Hell, Carrie Fisher was buried in a giant Prozac pill! Well, if they choose to have these 'ailments', fine. So be it. I'm not denying that for some, there are genuine problems such as chemical imbalances or whatever but I would argue that these are comparatively rare. Frankly I believe that much of this is to garner sympathy for their own personal pity parties.

But now we come to this article. Now they want to project these problems onto men and further suggesting that "loneliness" is life threatening! What's worse, it's a man writing this garbage! For the record sometimes during my lifetime I've been sad and broken hearted, but never depressed. I've been alone, but never lonely. I think we should take up a collection to give to these loons so they can go out and buy a life!

We went to high school together, and I still talk to him all the time, and we hang out all the ... Wait, how often do we actually hang out? Maybe four or five times a year?

I spend a lot of time asking them where their shoes are, and they spend a lot of time asking me when they can have some "Dada time." It is the world's cutest phrase, and it makes me feel guilty every time I hear it, because they are asking it in moments when they know I cannot give it to them - when I am distracted by an e-mail on my phone or I'm dealing with the constant, boring logistics of running a home.

We can usually squeeze in an hour of "Dada time" before bed - mostly wrestling or reading books - and so the real "Dada time" happens on weekends.
