I personally think that when you lift for women, you don't have the right choice of motivation because you will then get confidence from EXTERNAL factors and are dependent from what others think of you, you're never a free spirit. When you lift because you want to become a stronger person tomorrow... and focus on the result that you want to belong to the top 10% of men physically, you will have a different motivation that will essentially be the key for perseverance and INTERNAL confidence that will last a lifetime.

So find other reasons to lift for, because doing it for women is a losing strategy. It's basically the same for the rule that only you can make yourself happy, not a woman.

Most of us needed an incident equaly harsh to unplug. This is how it happens. You just don't "stumble upon" the TRP while you are ok and say "meh, whatever". You find it when there are no options left and then you stick with it for the rest of your life.

This use to be me many years ago. I remember fantasizing that bullshit only to see her with a jock. But then I realized why not become a jock? Needless to say I started Weight lifting, reading blogs/books on social skills, forcing myself to go out when I just wanted to play video games, getting rid of video game/metal band t shirts, etc. I now have 3 dates lined up from tinder on Friday (assuming one of will flake). And a couple more saturday.

When confronted with someone who is doing better than you at something, there are only three possibilities:

they are BETTER. they work harder/better/smarter/more, plan ahead, know what they want and are not afraid to go get it.
They Cheated the system. They found a loophole that works and helps them exploit the something to their gain.
They got lucky. They fell into it without planning or work. (in this case, OP got lucky twice).

Which one do you think most people pick off the bat?

*Hint: No 3. I've done it. I have to pro-actively not go that route because it is instinct, and give due props to someone who consistently gets results. NOBODY wants to admit that someone else works harder, smarter or more often than they do.

Even someone gets lucky over and over and over and OVER again, eventually the hypothesis has to change. The Laws of the Universe require Balance somewhere.

Long term though, this could help him. He's realized that there aren't any special snowflakes out there, and maybe instead of chugging ~~Monster~~ poison, he could pound out some reps in the gym. Some will always resist, but I like how point out that they won't follow you unless they see results.

I doesn't think that the OP is bragging, he just shared a story that is full of RP-truths. He gets+1 from me because I had similar story soon:

Last Friday, after the Disco I shared a taxi with a guy and a girl. The girl had to pick something from my place, little plausible trick that I did with the idea that it is uncomfortable for her to take the thing to the club.

She could either go with the other guy who were in her direction (living literally 2 min away from each other) while he waits in the taxi for 1 min, take another taxi or stay with me.

When we arrived at my place I just grabbed her hand, made eye contact and told her to come with me. She complied, I wished good night to the guy and left some money for the taxi, the girl said nothing.

10-15 min later when we were already busy her phone starts ringing, it ringed like 5 min non-stop it wasn't close so we didn't bothered first but then it started to annoy us, she picked eventually and it was the guy still paying huge money to wait in the taxi outside, asking her what took her so long.

She said to him that there is no need to wait for her, rolled her eyes, while I was busting myself laughing while she moved on like nothing happened. Betas never stop to amuse me.

I does not understand why you downvote him for sharing his story. This sub starts to degenerate slowly sadly.
