Men wrap your head around this fact as this is the law:

If you get married, it all becomes one big pile of property (which of course was 100% contributed by you). So when you get divorced the Court doesnt see who put into the pile, all they see is ONE JOINT pile, so it gets divided into two piles.

Add custody. Women just used to "get" custody bc they were women. Now it's more nuanced but they still get the kids bc they don't work. That's right, since they don't work the Judge sees a parent with a full time ability to care for the child. The court finds its best for the kid to go with a stay at home parent, which is the woman.

Add child support. In my state CS is set on a schedule. There's a little room for manipulation but not as much as you'd think. So she gets half of the pile, then child support on top.

Add her lack of earning power, PLUS The fact she gets half of the pile, plus child support, the court will say "she gets the house to raise the child"

What's the point of all this? Well, it's that this IS the legal reality of marriage. These were the rules when you got hitched. No one changed them after the fact. But no, you were too stupid and fell in "love" trusting another person wouldn't, at any time, just decide they could be lazy, not work, fuck other people AND have you pay for it all while keeping your child from you. And the lawyer you get usually won't be able to change all of this.

It is baffling to me why a man would consider this even for a second.

Women can use their emotions to rationalize ANYTHING, and believe that they are in the right no matter how crappy they are behaving. This reminds me so much of myself. My first wife was my high school sweetheart. She started cheating (again) after I moved us to CA. When I couldn't find a job in my field and took a job at a grocery to get by until I got back into my field (IT security) she got a promotion and for the first time in our 9 year relationship she made slightly more than me.(we were 5 months away from our 5 year wedding anniversary) she used this time to put her plan into motion.

You see, she had been stacking money on the side. Her view on life was my money was "ours" and her money was hers. She was an independent contractor, she didn't have taxes taken out of her checks. So when taxes came around and we owed as a married couple several thousand dollars, it was magically "our" responsibility to come up with the cash. Anyways, back to the departure. When she got her promotion she became very distant, started going on late night trips to LA with her "co-workers" until 4-5 in the morning. She even turned down going with me to Hawai'i for my 30th. Found out when I came home (because I found love notes in a book titled 'how to find your true spiritual soul mate') turns out she was cheating with this fat beta cuck that was her subordinate. I kicked her to the curb. This wasn't even the first time I caught her cheating. There was once more that I know of and at least 1 other time I was suspicious of.

After my wife I spent time dating, found most women I dated were nuts. One girl claimed to be pregnant every time I tried to tell her I didn't want to date her anymore, until I called her bluff. Other dates were fun, but I didn't want to get committed. But there was this one woman. She was a loose friend of my circle. And I say that because she was always working as a single mother. We only saw her at the bar during the day on her "break" from work. She was a single mother and I mistook her "busyness" for being a good hardworking single mother.

We dated for about a year and things were ok, other than dealing with her kids father. He's a looser who's always in and out of jail (red flag). At this point she was told her and her daughter were being kicked out of their rental (red flag) I offered to take them in. That's when things got real bad. She kept going to "hang out" with her ex. When I expressed displeasure with this, she went on the offensive. Made me feel aweful because she has to "co-parent" with him and they NEEDED to talk from time to time. This is also when signs of abusiveness started to come to the surface. She started openly beating the crap out of her daughter when she would be bad. (And trust me, her daughter took after her father and was a nightmare, but no kid deserves to be beat like that.) I often had to step in and separate them.

Then one day, she tells me that there is a family camp out for her daughter's day camp program, and by the way, I'm not welcome to come. Because her ex is going to be there. This pissed me off to no end. And when I realized she didn't take any of our camping equipment she must have been staying with the ex. (Which she swears her ex slept outside while her and her daughter stayed in his tent)

I decided that was it, I was done. When I told her this wasn't cool at all and I wanted out, she became abusive with me. She would hit me like she hit her daughter and then try and taunt me. "What are you going to do? Hit a woman!?" I didn't know what to do. They were in my house so I couldn't just leave. While trying to figure out an exit she approached me and told me she was pregnant. I was sceptical that it was mine (it was) but I figured we would try to work things out. We had a beautiful little boy and I was such a proud father. But the abuse just got worse. When I saw her get angry at our 6 month old son and swing him around like a rag doll I had to get rid of her. I started recording her when she went on an abusive tirades. I got her out of the house but not without her trashing the house.

At this point I was at the end of my rope with women as a whole. She tried to keep my son from me. And I went into full on papa bear mode. I took her to court and fucked the shit out of her. The judge was on her side from the beginning, as was the court mediator. I called the mediator on her bias as she didn't even want to hear about the abuse of the kids, and tried to convince me that every other weekend was going to be the very best I would get. I told the mediator that she was delusional and really had no say in the matter and we would settle in court. Luckily the judge, while dispositioned to take her side, was a reasonable and open judge. I quickly showed my competence as a father and her Incompetence as a partner. I got 50/50 time with my son. Over time her gross negligence showed it's ugly head and I now have 70/30 custody.

I've sworn off women and have dedicated myself to raising my son and teaching him ,when he gets older, the dangers of women. Now that I'm not trying to financially "earn" a woman I have stopped doing IT security and am following my passion to open a brewery. I have women who would gladly give it up to me. But I pass at every turn. Maybe I'll hook up with a piece of ass someday. But for now, no pussy is worth it. Focus on your happiness. Being a dad is one of the hardest and most rewarding things in my life, and you don't need a woman these days to have a kid if you really want to be a dad. Be there for your buddies and never let pussy get in the way of that. Also, try not to put down the beta cucks around you, try and open their eyes. But never kill yourselves over that either. All I can say is looking out for #1.

Do you know why i feel bad for this guy? Just wanted to say that a vasectomy doesn't actually bring your chances of getting someone pregnant down to an absolute zero, especially with older methods of the operation. It's very rare but you can still get someone pregnant after having a vasectomy. So, yeah.
