The reality is: you always die alone. Think about it say you wake up in the middle of the night next to your wife and your having a heart attack. You can’t even muster a whimper. So you lie there hoping it will pass, and you can’t even communicate that you’re dying. You’re gonna feel pretty alone in that moment.

I came to this realization during my last relationship. My ex was a nagging bitch. I couldn’t confide any of my fears or unhappiness. Even in a relationship I felt alone, that my problems were mine alone. I dreaded coming home, and no longer felt comfortable there. I felt like a man without a country. My job was my only escape from her incessant complaining. I had never felt more alone in my life.

The problem with " alone " is not for us ...we are lonely wolf and we can survive in alot of conditions....female nature can't live alone , but they think we are the same ...not in my case and in others more who are strong and can see the real nature in life ....survive .

This is true. There was a dude who was in hospital for 3 weeks and not once did his wife visited him. She dropped by only when he's in the morgue to settle some paper work.

The whole concept of dying alone is a misnomer. Everyone dies alone in a sense. We are contemplating our mortality near death. Chances are no one in your family is going through the same even if they are there.

My Dad died right in front of me as I drove him the the ER and he was screaming and scared. Learn to embrace death because we all will have to deal with it. Accept you will die alone and it will suck because it frees you to enjoy the time and good people you do have in the hear and now. Any one of us could die today so make the best of it. And Women don't deal well with Men that have accepted death because once you face the fear it is not as bad, and facing fears and Women is never going to happen so its just another advantage to have over them.

People have really weird ideas around the concept of death. Mostly made up by stacking fiction upon fiction.

While you might by dying for some time, actual death itself is one moment of one day and whether it went well or not won't be a concern.

I wouldn't fuck with years of choices to optimize for a moment of a day years later.

I think people should figure out what they really want when they die and what "alone" vs not even means.

Do you want someone physically present? Cash solves that. If you hire them early enough, they'll probably even have a friendship with you.

Do you want friends? They might not necessarily be there on the day you die, but it's possible to still have friends regardless of having children.

99% of people die alone anyway. Even if you're married:

Your wife can die before you (42% chance)
You can die at work (12% chance, if you never retire, slightly lower if you do)
You can die in your sleep (12% of people do)
You can die while your wife is running errands or while you are running errands.
You and your wife can end up in different nursing homes and you'll still die alone
You can die on the toilet
You can be so demented that you don't know who your wife is, or vice-versa, negating the supposed benefit of dying near loved ones.
You can die in the hospital while your wife is driving to come see you (this happens a lot. My friend is a nurse and 9/10 people who die there die when no family is around)
You can die in a car crash or other freak accident.
You can slip into a coma and not be aware of the presence of your loved ones as you die.

etc

Or, you can just drop dead even if she is there, which is no better than dropping dead while alone.

The chance that you'll die in a comfortable bed while conscious and lucid surrounded by a loving family is 0% if you're MGTOW. It's about 1% if you're married. Is that worth the effort or marriage?

So is the point of marriage to form like a suicide pact? Why bother marrying then? Why not just go straight to killing one another at the same time? What's the point of that anyway?

Unless you mean we'd die of old age, but isn't it highly unlikely that we'd die of old are at the same exact time? And even if we do die at the same time, what's the point of marrying? Also, we we die at the same time, what if we're not together in that moment?

What if we divorce? What if one of us gets killed? What if one kills the other?

And finally, what's bad about dying alone, anyway?

When it comes to terminal illness. I think there has to be a choice. People may chose to suffer until the bitter end. Smart people will opt out and chose taking a simple pill where you die a half hour later. Brittany Maynard chose the latter route. Her and her husband lived in California. Where assisted suicide is illegal. They moved to Oregon where assisted suicide is legal. I respect people who truly chose to die with their dignity in tact. A person doesn't die with dignity with assisted living or hospice. Its also way more courageous to die on your own terms. It wastes less resources which should be spent on the living. If an individual is suffering from Ann. Incurable illness it seems pointless to me and also rather abusiivve to make a person die in such a horrible way. It has to be up to the individual on whether they wish to die at the onset or chose to suffer to the bitter end. I believe most sane people would opt out just as Brittany Maynard did. Also it is not suicide If you have an terminal illness. You are well on your way dying anyway. Why suffer just so some vultures in the family can put on their little show of how great they are, when all the while those sociopaths are happy because they are about to gain resources. I do agree everyone dies alone.

I was married for 23 years. My wife was diagnosed with undifferentiated adenocarcinoma of the the lungs. I spent all our savings and a year of my life caring for her. I don't regret it. But toward the end, she got a bug up her ass and left me. Moved in with her brother and his wife, who she thought could take better care of her. They cleaned out my bank accounts, canceled all my credit cards, and changed all the info they could think of so I couldn't access any accounts, not even our cell phone accounts. They even tried to get her to sign over her life insurance policy, but couldn't do it without my approval, which I refused to do. In the end, when they got as much out of her as they could, they put her in a home where she passed away. I had to pay for her final days in the home, pay to have her cremated and her remains returned to me. Even when the wife passes first, beware of crazy women shit and her crazy family. Some of it was her illness, and some of it was anger that she was going to die and not me. The husband, after all, is supposed to die first. She even said that outright. It's water under the bridge, I guess. But I also stay away from women now, too. Being bi, I just started fucking dudes.
