My favorite book is 7 habits. It's my personal bible. Agree with all the points here. However what I hate are borrowing books. I want to keep them.

Get a library card! I love books but buying them can get pretty expensive and also you'll have a pile of books and while it's nice to look at it can be pretty annoying making space for them and don't get me started when it's time to move. E-books are cool and I have my own but sometimes you find yourself browsing needlessly for the next book in the shop section just to see what's next. Also, there's nothing like seeing the progress you're making through the book as you're nearing the middle and then the end. Also, I caution against self-help books. I can't articulate it properly but it can lead you down a rabbit hole of thinking you're making progress when what you're actually doing is avoiding problems you actually need to deal with.(Hope that makes sense.)

If I read for a good 2+ hours it cortisols the fuck out of me. I feel autistic and socially disconnected for the rest of the day. Probably something to save for the end of the day before bed
