The short answer is yes.

Especially since you already state that you don't want to go anywhere near that philosophy - of course the natural way to do that is to ignore it/not socialise with people who hold those beliefs. Obviously, sometimes you'll meet people who hold some of those beliefs and you still get on with them - it's up to you if you make it a strict rule or have more leniency there.

But, if you don't want to mix with toxic ideology, then yes, you should ignore the advice from trp and similar areas.

Just have self respect, boundaries, and expect equality in relationships with women. Then you can ignore Redpill, Alpha, friendzoned concepts.

Yes, good idea, ignore it and keep away from it. I think any person you'd want to date is not going to fit into those ideologies because the ideologies are toxic and attract toxic people and create toxic relationships.

TRP is a cult built on abuse. Learn to spot the red flags well in advance and avoid them like the plague they are.

I'm serious here. Research the tactics of abusers, manipulators, narcissists, and cults. You'll find significant overlap.

my advice, go read models by mark manson and ignore everything else. its basically a similar philosophy about how to improve ones life, with the side benefit (or main benefit depending on your goals) of becoming more attractive towards women, minus all the toxicity of TRP/manosphere bullshit.

I would if I were you, yes. If you are going to invest in learning about theories and ideologies, I would invest in theories to do with psychology, relationships and self improvement.

Understanding yourself will help you understand others, and that will most likely lead to improving your relationship with yourself, and improving your relationships with others.

There are a few theories that are really interesting to learn about. One of them being Attachment style. I would highly recommend.

Yeah, ignore it. Too many (even in this thread) seem to equate it with "looks, confidence/charm, intelligence, and social standing matter", but that's common knowledge. The "alpha males" I've known generally try to fake these things, and end up pressuring women who fo some reason (credulity, emotional damage, social repercussions) can't or won't stand up for themselves.

With that being said, don't be a "niceguy/friendzoner" who does things and expects something in return---if the attraction is one-sided, either just drop your agenda and be friends, or move on if you're unable to do so.

Take care of yourself, don't be a total tard when you speak, learn social cues (yes, when she snores because you spoke of your WoW raid for 2 hours straight it generaly means she is not interested), do something with your life and you should have a good start.
