I work in aviation maintenance. Our facility is large, with a very small percentage of women.... maybe 8-10 out of probably 800 mechanics on the hangar floor at any one time. Currently, one is a lead mechanic... and honestly pretty cool, but willing to throw down the woman card. Two others are pretty low on the skills ladder, but good workers and willing to learn. A couple of the rest are just plain worthless. Then you you have the few that are very obviosly only there to try to snag someone in management and 'work' their way into SAHM or a bullshit do-nothing position. I make it a point to never be alone with any of them.

I work in the tech industry as a red team penetration tester/network security engineer. Trust me dude, women need to get the FUCK out. We had some diversity hires that were women and they were fucking terrible. Ended up getting fired due to COVID while the 2 chicks were left there, had some scripts set up to automate the basic shit at my job that pulled (via SSH) from my personal github. Revoked my SSH key when I left. Ended up with over 80 voicemails from those two bitches asking me for help. NOPE! If you can't do basic networking tasks, which those scripts automated, you are dumber than a 30 line python script. YANOPEEE!

We definitely don't need a specific gender in tech. Tech is all about competence, development and innovation. What we need is competitive candidates which as a result automatically filters out most women.

Right now, this is big at my company. We are, essentially, a software company, making some well known apps. it's all the same thing... zero understanding of the product we make, hiding behind anything they're able to... process usually.

Fortunately, the outcome is usually repetitive - we'll start lagging behind targets and then poof... we don't see them again. It's a cycle though.

We have forums and discussions about this issue now and again and I always bring up the same argument - where are the quotas for the mining industry? Garbage collection? Logging? Welding? There are none.

20 years ago, tech was nerdy shit that fat, undesirables are into, not hot women like us. Now the money is there, they want a piece of it. It's as obviously fake as anything I've ever seen - most of the women who claim to be 'into' tech (gaming streamers (what a joke), gaming journalism... they want a piece of it now.

Unfortunately many of the men in these sectors are the worst kind of betas. I have noticed over the past few years a slow increase in red pills, though. But it's more difficult to be red pilled/MGTOW when you're a virgin like many of them are.

I have seen everything, including women coming to the interview and telling me I have to hire them because they are female.

The entitlement is off the charts.

Some women kick ass but let me be clear they are the absolute minority.

I only know one female software developer, and she's useless. Containtly asking her male collegues to help her finish assignments. Luckily the male programmers have decided to "work to rule" ie just do their own tasks.

I have a funny story about Women in Tech. This was back in the late 90's, yes I am that old.

I was working at a company and the director of the local chapter of Women in Tech called on me, she stopped by the office.

She was asking if the company was willing to sponsor her chapter. I gave her the usual line, which actually was true: we have 3 charities that we've been supporting for a long time and take up all of our budget, we make a difference there, and we can't afford more and we don't want to cut funding to those charities.

She persists, and - like a politician - I repeat the same line over and over.

Then she tries to sell me a membership. I point out to her that it's a Women group and I am a guy. She tells me that "No, it's not a women's group". I point out to her that it's in the name; to which she replies "Men are welcome too".

I ask her if - for the right amount - they were willing to change the name to "Men in Technology" where - of course - women would be welcomed too.

And that's when I was told I was a misogynist.

Applied to a new grad program tech role. HR said i didn’t have the right education so they offered me a business role. They gave the tech role to a girl instead. Fine no problem as long as she’s qualified.

Months into the role, i learn this girl was in the exact same business/tech bachelor program as i was expect she never did co-op which is why i never seen her before.

So i basically got looked over for a role by a girl with the same education as me but with less experience. And now she’s making $10K more and gets an extra week of vacation.

I personally hate to work for somebody else than me, thats why i invest as much as i can into crypto currency.

Also i am trying to create my own brand. I will buy stuff from alibaba and sell it on amazon.

That way i will hopefully make enough money to never have to work for anybody ever again
