I'm quoting from an AskMen from several years ago about romance and why it's so drastically different between men and women.

I highly agree with this, I met someone who ended up actually caring for me, which was rare. This hit me so hard as it was the first time I really and truly felt cared about, we ended up dating and then I got cheated on. This led me to become a MGTOW after I discovered what this place is about
