Hello all!

Given the nature of this subreddit, I thought that it may be appropriate to ask this question here.

Here goes.....

-------------------------Feminism-----------------------------------------------

So after subscribing to feminist ideology as a child (not realizing this. I went through stages. I played with dolls longer than my peers and insisted on wearing pink for awhile before eschewing it as "too girly" and opting for blue clothing.)

and later a teen (Before watching videos by Anita Sarkeesian around the age of 15-16 years old, I am not sure if I can honestly say that I thought of myself as a feminist...and then there is the lie that "Feminism is believing in equal rights for men and women" lie that I bought around this age as well. You are free to cringe and get all the feels. My younger bro seemed not to have subscribed to this stuff and was shocked when I told him. You may join him in shock.)

----------------------------------------------Femininity v. The System-------------------------------------------------------------

I now want to cultivate femininity and practice submission. Not only this, but I wish to avoid college, if I can... Trade school has been suggested to me as an option, I can also apply for job training of some sort and had my eye set on being an HHA or nursing, but I cannot physically manage those jobs due to my health issues.

I am considering WFH as it seems to be a plausible option for me. I don't want to sit home, be lazy and waste my precious opportunities...I just don't want to be pushed through the system and pressed into whatever form society would have me take on.

Nor do I want to be saddled with a lot of debt if I decide to have children....

I am a failure when it comes to cleaning, cooking, etc

I was a lazy child and did not value these things much as I spent my time playing games, dreaming, studying whatever I wished, etc.

It has now come to bite me.

-----------------------------------------------------My thoughts on jobs------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been reading about women's roles in history and wishing to be true to my design. It seems like jobs are so competitive though! I have an interest in arts, crafts, and clothing, but lack skills and why should anyone wish to purchase from me if we live in a modern era where we can just run to the store and buy mass-produced clothing for cheap?

Jobs that seem easier to obtain seem to be housekeeping, babysitting, and the like........but if these jobs dry up in my area, what will I do? To be honest, I think that I may be obsessed with appropriate male-female roles a bit now, since I decided to adhere to a higher standard and I want to do the right thing here.

I want to contribute to society by going a different route. I wish to help others eat more healthful food ( a reason I haven't gone for an easy fast food job), and help others....but I need funds.

What are some options for me? What do you women do? I also want help as I don't want to go from one extreme to the other, clamp down and decide that certain things aren't ladylike arbitrarily..

Your critiques are welcome.
