Finally bought and started reading Why Men Love Bitches on my Kindle. The book is eye-opening, and I’m constantly cringing when I read the “nice girl” behaviors because the things the book tells you to not do? I did almost all of them with Bullet, the ex I spoke about on here a couple of times. I cringe at myself. I have to put the book down after like 25 minutes because I need to gather my emotions after so much internal cringing.

The worst part is that I am what the book calls a bitch with the other potential romantic partners in my life... I’m sweet with them, but I put my well-being and dignity above all. I am not needy or anything with them, but with Bullet I was a complete doormat. I baked for him, I let my plans revolve around his schedule etc. I was a bitch at first, which is when he pursued me, and then boom, two months later I became a doormat.

As I’m reading the book I also realize that HE was the one who had the “bitch” behavior the book describes. HE was the one who did not agree to last minute dates. HE was the one who made time for himself, HE was the one who kept the phone calls short, HE made me feel that he didn’t need me, HE was the one who wasn’t good-looking but made me fall for him with his confident attitude, and plenty of other things.
