So common. And all the men who won’t claim their wives in their profile but they are all over their wive’s profile. Pics, mentioning them in their bio, etc. They look like they’re single w/out kids to the outsider.

Yep. Fell victim to this once. I scoured a guys fb for any signs of a gf, saw none and felt it was safe to go ahead with a date (we met traveling and were remeeting years later when he was in town on business, he lived far away).

We have a lovely dinner date, sparks are flying... BUT THEN he tells me, as we’re making out in his hotel room, that he has a gf. And that he’s cheated on her before.

The level of anger and humiliation I felt was just... god I still can’t understand wtf he did that.

This was years ago. Thank god for FDS now. I’d never get into a situation like that now, that’s for sure.

Yup, I've been saying this shit for years now and I've yet to be proven wrong. I would never date any guy that uses snapchat, kik, telegram, whatsapp, etc, and I'm very close to social media use in general becoming a dealbreaker. People vastly underestimate the significance of online behavior but it's playing an ever-increasing role in divorces & breakups. How people act online matters and it's as good a way to judge a guy's intentions and commitment as anything else. Liking girls' pics or posting flirty comments, keeping his friend list or relationship status hidden, not acknowledging you as his GF, following exes or other backburners, messaging them- these are all red flags you should never ignore. It's not innocent, it doesn't mean he's "private" or he's just "good friends" with that girl he interacts more with than you, it means he's not loyal.

A lot of them think that liking the pics of their gf or wife is simping. Being complimentary to your SO is simp behavior. In fact, liking pics of other women creates dread and keeps her in line. Because she’s specifically aware of his other options, should she fall short in some way. Plus, a lot of these guys openly chase and follow IG Baddies. Your average everyday wife and mother can’t compare (looks-wise)to the IG Baddies. And how could they? They’re doing real shit with their life and can’t afford that much frivolity. Taking pics, posing for pictures, all the preparation ( hair, makeup, all the shaving/waxing, tanning.
