Dumbest idea ever. I'd avoid someone who had cancer, because 1) risk of relapse, and 2) some of those cancer treatments have long-term side effects. So, stupid men, any woman who knows this -- like the smart women you desire to date -- is gonna nope on past your profile.

Jokes on him, I don’t read a Tinder bio until after he sends an opening message. There are way too many men on Tinder for all that noise, and I live in a small isolated city. In a metropolitan area? No one is reading a bio until it’s time to decide if they want to reply.

Who the fuck would put it in their bio as an actual cancer survivor? It's a struggle of the past (and present if you count the chance of relapse), which is kind of intimate and a thing you won't shout out to everyone, unless you support a cause and want to raise awareness - for which the suitable platform isn't Tinder. I have people around me who have/had cancer and while it lasts they want nothing more than to seem "normal" to the outside world, and if they're through they only tell it to people who matter and who ask.
