More than 75% of the men I’ve met off of OLD were about 1-2 inches shorter than their profile listed. The only time it seemed accurate is if the guy said he was 6ft or taller. I assume it’s accurate because they are content with their height (6ft being a cultural standard apparently.)

I’m not super strict about height, but if a man LIES about it, it’s a huge red flag and I’m already looking forward to the date ending. I’m 5’6”, so if his profile says 5’8” and we meet up and I’m at eye level (in flats), it’s pretty fucking obvious. I now assume if a guy lists 6ft or lower I need to subtract about 2 inches. And move on immediately if you notice this on the date, because if a mans willing to lie about this, he’s willing to lie about other things. Too insecure to be honest.
