Don’t engage in any further discussion with her that isn’t work related. Just be polite and pleasant. If she tries to start a debate with you, just remove yourself from the conversation - “I’d love to talk more but I’ve got a report to finish, phone call, meeting etc.”. It’s not worth compromising your job for.

I don't think you can do anything really other than deny everything if there were no witnesses:

She's higher up than you
You're a recent hire
Your boss is female

Congratulations on cooking up a perfect shit storm for yourself because you couldn't keep your mouth shut. Best thing you can do now is learn from this mistake and not repeat it.

Cut this one off at the pass, and take the issue to HR. Figured out how she has harassed you and made you feel uncomfortable, and strike first.

I've been in a similar situation myself so I'm going to outline here what you need to do.

First, speak to others in the department to find out if they are having any issues with her, be very careful how you do this, because it's something that can very quickly come back on you, don't talk about it to other women stick with other men.

If they are then there is a pattern of behaviour.

Start to document everything, and never be alone in a room with her, if you have to be then always make sure that the room is clearly visible at all times and the door is always open, ask to move somewhere else if you can though.

Never ever engage her in anything, no chit chats, no debates and I discussions about anything ever, if she tries to talk to you apologize and say you have to be somewhere else, if she starts to talk to you about anything outside of work, stop her and day that your uncomfortable talking about personal issues and won't do it.

Make sure if there is anything you have to discuss with her about work, you always get it written down, she asks you to do something you get it in an email, you ask her, you'll have a witness with you when you ask and you'll send an email.

What you must do now is change your entire behaviour with her, be professional only, totally and nothing else. Expect that initially she will change her behaviour to soften you up, she will play a game of being your friend, she will recognise you cutting her off and she will go into damage limitation. Do not fall for it, ever, period. When you become Mr professional, that's how you will be with her, outside if the office you will never ever speak to her and never alone, at a works party, you will make sure that you do not ever talk to her, don't engage her in anything, if she approaches you then you will either excuse yourself and go talk to others or get a third person to talk to her but you will say nothing.

Do not give her any ammunition to fire at you and if you let your guard down then trust me she will find it and fire it.

Start looking to work elsewhere as this isn't going to make things easy for you.

When it comes to work, you need to know how to play the game. Politics/Sex/Religion etc...I don't ever get involved with these types of convos in the office. Women bring up all sorts of feminist blue pill shit, I don't get involved in such topics.

When I'm with the higher ups for a drink shooting the shit, I will have many drinks and take careful shots while shooting my shit.

Report to Humam resource first about the incident. It will give you an upper hand. Guys in my country know this and usually use this tool. It helps their innocence as it's sop and makes you the one following rules.
