Getting gang-banged is not a decision that's made overnight. The mindset to do such a deed must have already been there previously, and the parents did not correct it.

The reaction of the father leads me to believe that he knew his daughter was going down a hole and tried to stop it, but the mother and society (school) got in his way. No father who sees his daughter getting gang-banged would react like that without context. If his daughter was blameless, he would assume she got raped.

It should be noted that a 16 yo is a conscious human being capable of common sense. If she was drugged and raped, there should be evidence of it in her body. However it seems that the event happened a few days or even weeks before the email. Meaning that she did not say anything, and the family did not notice anything out of the ordinary (like a visit to the doctor). Therefore, it's very unlikely that it was rape.

I don't believe she got threatened as she did not consult anyone. Not to mention that anyone being threatened into a gang-bang would show clear signs of stress and fear. Also, if she was threatened, why would they make a video and share it around? It makes no sense unless they're also underage and stupid.
