So, is it illegal to beg using an image that isn't of yourself? Ie just grab a stock photo or whatever (legally), and then use it to beg? You wouldn't make any promises - just like here.

I'd think that would be completely legal, especially if you never claim that the picture is of yourself.

If you were to try it I'd probably make sure you are using the photo legally (ie you paid a license fee/etc or it is public domain). If some prosecutor wants to make an example out of you they'll look for ANYTHING to do it with, and copyright infringement has ridiculous statutory damages.
