This depends where you are in life and what you're capable of. It's good to have a few very dependable plates who let you fuck them when you feel like it, so that when you're tired and don't feel like going out or if you don't meet anybody that you like, you can go meet one of them.

There are 3 kinds of plates, generally. Maybe 4 actually.

1- You're not attracted to her and don't really like her. But she'll say yes to sex, so it's better than nothing. You use her body as friction to get yourself off while thinking about other women, and she serves as a source of validation and gives you a sense of power because you don't really care about her and can do and say whatever and treat her however you want within reason, and she'll let you fuck her anyway.

2- You're attracted to her physically but don't care much for her as a person or really want to hang out with her except for sex. She's fun for sex, turns you on, and you feel a sense of validation that an attractive girl who could fuck other guys (and probably is) is also choosing to include you in her short list. You don't really like her that much as a human, but you'll do the minimum amount of hanging out and effort to get her to keep having sex with you, and you feel powerful because you can get away with doing the minimum and still get laid.

3- You like her as a person and enjoy her company. You don't just use her to get off, but also might call her to hang out if you have nothing else going on or use her as your +1 at a friend's wedding so you don't waste the hotel room. She's too slutty or unstable to date seriously, so you're careful to maintain boundaries and not let her get confused about where things are going, but you treat her well and enjoy being with her.

4- You really like her, and if she plays her cards right, you might let her be a girlfriend if she asks. She probably won't play her cards right. And if you do end up in a relationship with her, it will be with the knowledge that it's just your turn, but you like her enough that you think the advantages of having her around in your life more often and the ease of having a girlfriend for sex will outweigh the awkwardness when it ends.

I'm not too sure what you mean by attracted mentally. I don't know many girls, if any, that I'd hang out with alone if we didn't have something going on. But they must not be too annoying

As long as they're resonably attractive ( = not fat and not hideous ), I definitely think it helps with your abundance mentality to plate these girls

After all, I don't know how badly you have to neglect yourself as a girl to look bad naked with makeup on. But it sure is possible

Plus girls below a 6 usually give better head and are way less flakey.

I'm a guy who used to have a good/abundant social circle until I moved to another country a year after graduating high school.

The problem with me was that I knew how to interact with people I was comfortable with, but I was never put in uncomfortable situations that molded my outgoing character.

I learn cold approach about a year and a half ago and pursued it consistently for 2-3 months then stopped until 3 months ago. During the time that I stopped I relied solely on online game and didn't have high quality matches but I settled for what I could get at the time.
