any writers in here? we should brainstorm alternate universe sex in the city from FDS perspective.

Honestly I loved it first run, I’ve seen both movies as well. I don’t agree with everything in it. But it’s a fun watch and light entertainment.

However I don’t feel that FDS needs to be present in every facet of my life in my viewing and entertainment choices.

This show did not hold up. Though I still watch for fashion inspiration. Thanks to FDS in the rewatch I saw every guy as LVM except maybe Aidan who was medium value. And Carrie and Charlotte broke my heart w their pickmeishaness

Yeah, I've been hearing about this these past few days. Sex and The City is a product of its time. Leave it there. It's even more ridiculous since not all of them are on board. You know the world really sucks when we're so hung up on nostalgia. Never has there been such a push for old tv shows to come back. Sex and The City, Friends, Full House, Will and Grace, Murphy Brown, Saved By The Bell, Mad About You, Gilmore Girls etc.etc. As far as SaTC goes they were already pushing it with the movies which weren't so good. The old tv show is cringeworthy in terms of relationships but as someone else here said, every tv show I watch does not have to reflect all of my values. The show is nostalgic for me too but I can't say I have huge interest in this comeback.

If you want something good to watch, I recommend Dollface!
