When I turned 20, I didn't even get a cake, no presents, didn't really have friends at the time so even if I wanted to throw a small party there was nobody to invite anyways, not like my parents would have let me. The only thing I got for my birthday was my dad took me to the dentist. My parents told me that was adult life though it's not like they really acknowledged my birthday as a kid either.
