No I definitely understand how dangerous the manosphere is. I've seen the crime statistics, I've read the reddit posts and heard the horrific language casually dropped between men about women. I've had my health put at risk, my mental well-being shaken and the security of my future demolished because men treat women as unthinking, unfeeling, automatons they can use and trash - all behavior reinforced by the manosphere where they're praised for destroying other human beings.

I hate how they equate the manosphere with the far right as if Reddit isn’t full of Left Wing incels. In fact there are whole subreddits dedicated to left wing “male advocates”. Misogyny does not know a political class.

It's great the misogyny is being recognized, but it's just a way to "other" certain sub-groups.

The way abusive men can claim they're not abusive because they're not as bad as those other men who hit women.

I dated someone who was a Republican and he know a lot about the manosphere. I wasn’t able to put two and two together after the break up, like oh maybe he’s just NOT into that stuff, maybe he already has those values.

Oh yeah I've had these creeps come for me in groups my whole life. But especially lately. They're definitely getting desperate and ramping up their tactics.
