I used to get this quite a lot. Usually it was because I was mad/angry/crabby/grumpy. Women can smell feelings of stress, anxiety and fear in their man from a mile away. And if it happens enough, they become hypervigilant about it. I wouldn't even classify this as a shit test, but more about her feeling hypersensitive and insecure around you.

Next time it happens, do a personal inventory and ask yourself whether or not you're actually feeling content in that moment. Regardless of your answer, just say "hey come here" and give her a hug and tell her it feels nice. Then forget the question was even asked, because once you do this it's likely she will forget about the question too.

I usually turn these sexual. It works like a pressure flip, reminds her I’m a sexual man, and has gotten me head a few times. Also, if you are an unattractive shmuck, she will quickly associate asking you why you are mad with sex and will be repulsed by the thought of asking you again.

“I’m just mad my dick’s not in your mouth. Feels like a wasted opportunity.”

“I’m upset cause I forgot whether you can deep throat or not and it’s driving me crazy. Can you remind me?”

The agree and amplify plus broken record approach you’re taking works well for shit tests. Even if you’re pissed but for a dumb reason and she’s just poking the bear, then responding with, “Yeah, I’m fucking livid!” owns and releases your emotions. Acting melodramatic is funny and reminds you (and reassures her) that you were overreacting.

Also, you might have a case of resting bitch face that’s TRIGGERING her shit tests. Relax 😎

What do you say if you ARE in a bad mood? Do you try and pass it off as you're not? Or do you say, "yeah, xy and z kind of sucks right now"?

No need to go into the details of why xy and z sucks, but nothing wrong with telling her yeah, I'm in a bad mood and it's not because of you. That's really all she's looking for.

understand that when you're mad (angry) at others, you're often actually angry at yourself (for letting things get to this point; whatever that may be).

If she can push your buttons, since you know her question is not one of concern, you need to STFU and work on your strength (of Frame and physicality) let your anger fuel your gym visits and focus on strength of character.

The funny thing is, when you change; you don't need her to change. Meaning, my LTR used to try/do things like that a few years ago ("why you mad"). Now, it never happens with a snark/in a negative way.... but, I was dealing with a client/customer snafu this weekend (not of my team's doing but still affected my company's name) and i was preoccupied with the situation. After dinner Sunday night, she walked up behind me, embraced me, and whispered: "tell me what's up if it will help, if it won't, you don't have to" with a smile.

I didn't ask for this, I didn't expect it. I didn't want it. And I would've been fine if she hadn't. No way did I need to recount the systemic issues that led to the snafu, but it was 'nice' of her to try. But oddly, I realized, I no longer look for such behavior, nor need it to validate her view of me or my value. Yet, that's when they offer it. When you are strong enough to not need it.

So, now, when you're weak, and she shit tests or just negs you in this way, is when you do think you need it. But you actually don't. You need yourself to get stronger.

PS: A&A is best but can fall flat when she knows you're actually upset, hence STFU in this situation.Then work on why you're mad (at yourself)
