Hello ladies! The past two weekends I went on 4 dates with a gentleman I know from my neighborhood growing up. 2 of them were with his 8 year old daughter who he has full time.

A little background is we both just got out of relationships (me 36/F, him 37/M) a month ago his more serious then mine. We spent the last two weekends hanging out with each other but also around mutual friends which to me was kind of a statement. We’ve kissed once but that’s it. He didn’t text me at all this past week or this weekend. Nothing lead me on to think we weren’t making a connection but I know men tend to say nice things to not hurt your feelings.

The reason I’m asking your opinion ladies is because I’m not sure if I came off like I’m not interested or too busy. The 2 date nights we had planned without his daughter I had prior obligations I couldn’t get out of so I had to cut the dates short and leave. I let him know this ahead of time so it wasn’t a surprise.

I know that if a man is interested he will pursue you no matter what. Right? Should I just let this one go and move on or do I send a text asking how his week was?
