OP, you may feel good now, fit and young, but seriously please consider getting the vaccine. MGTOW has nothing to do with the Covid vaccine issue and please don't make it as such. I would suggest that instead of listening to your grandparent, you Instead need to do your own research. Use your critical thinking, analytic and logical mind to review the evidence (reliable sources) and not base your decision on emotions. This disease is a delibating illness that can cause varying types of cavitating area's in your lung which don't heal back, you feel like your drowning, have chronic fatigue during plus in the post recovery period and potentially have long lasting respiratory issue's which will cost you $$$ now and when you are older.

I am not an anti-vaxxer, but I will not be taking any of the current vaccines.

The medical "authorities" have completely destroyed their credibility with their blatant politicalization of the pandemic. Trump rallies are "superspreader events", but BLM/Antifa rallies are OK because raycsim.

The vaccines may be fine, but I'm waiting at least a year or so to see if there are any side effects.

I believe nothing the "authorities" or the media tell me anymore.

There is no need to lie - just tell them the truth, show them the stats around healthy younger people. It is important that you do your DD around the subject and come to a conclusion of your own accord. Afterall, it's GYOW not do what others try to make you.

Personally I would recommend getting the vaccine. This is as while the virus itself may be no worse than the flu, it has the potential to be worse - there's a reason the flu doesn't overwhelm our hospitals but Covid did. There's also the ongoing research into the lasting effects of Covid which is currently leaning towards the potential of future health issues (heavily increased if you had visible symptoms of the virus).

Most people telling you not to get it are worried about the mRNA vaccines. This is understandible as mRNA generally isn't something you mess around with. But, honestly, there isn't much it can do - at most it will enable your immune system to seek and destroy viral cells, at worst it simply won't work. If the governments wanted an efficient way of killing the population they could simply spike any well known vaccine.

In any case, it is most likely that Covid will never go away, instead becoming a seasonal Virus (as seen from variations that are resistant to the vaccines). mRNA vaccines are just going to become more prevalent as they're cheaper and quicker to manufacturer - we're just in the phase where people don't yet want to embrace the new methods.
