Maybe I'm just in a shitty mood this morning. But I was reading a post about white men's income lowering since 1996 or some shit.

Half these posts were about garbage about how their degree only landed them a low income. Not once did I see a post about how they tried to market their degree or work skills.

Then it got me thinking about other expierences. Like I got a buddy who seems to always bitch about he doesn't have more money and free time to do nothing. Where is the fucking logic?

Very rarely do I meet people who take responsibility for their own damn lives. Majority of the conversations I hear are people whining about how shit isn't handed to them. (Like the front page of reddit)

The fuck is wrong with the world? Is this how people really think?

Has it always been this way and I'm getting older and just seeing it now?

Don't get me wrong I like my downtime just as much as everybody else, but damn my buddy's can't even put in 5 minutes of labor in a video game for hours of entertainment.

I heard this a lot on TRP (and other Right-Leaning sites) but I've honestly yet to meet anybody who doesn't "want to work". And I live in the ultra liberal Bay Area.

Most people I hear complain are frustrated because they made some decisions about investing in education which didn't pan out. I wouldn't be happy if I chose to invest 10's of thousands in school and had no marketable skill as a result. BUT - I would be careful to realize this wasn't some conspiracy to fuck me over, but an unpredictably changing job market.

What I DO see a lot of are people who are doing well pat themselves on the back and assign insane amounts of virtue to themselves (I work hard! ) when in reality they simply got the right connections / opportunities at the right time and had the right amount of luck mixed in.

You rarely hear anybody attribute their financial success to luck, but in reality that is almost always half the story.

For me, I've done well in my career. I didn't even finish High School - I happened to get an opportunity (through a friend) to get my foot in the door at an early phase of this industry and took advantage of it. Right place, right time and I happened to have the right skills for it.

There are plenty of people who work much harder than me (and are smarter) who can't find a decent job.

I've also never met anybody on welfare who is happy with their situation.

Just my perspective.

When I was younger, I helped work on my grandfathers farm growing, picking, and packing the produce. Fuck me that was back breaking labor. We'd come in sweaty, nasty, and sunburned to a crisp. No skin off my grandfather, because he would be right out there with us. My cousin worked along with us, and eventually we pooled money and bought an old 70's Toyota.

In our school there were, of course, several kids with rich parents. In particular one girls dad had bought her an Iroc Z. She made it a point to regularly roll by and make fun of both of us for our car.

Now fast forward around thirty years. Myself and my cousin both went into STEM areas. Both of us make the kind of money that's unimaginable in the little fishing village we came from: the property my house is on is actually larger than said village and was paid up front. The girl that got the Iroc Z is a single mom, with two kids by two different dads, and works at a drive through coffee bistro.

Most kids today fall into the same category as that girl. Everything is handed to them early with a minimum amount of effort at an early age, so they put the minimum amount of effort into developing themselves. What's more, they actually have contempt for people that do work hard.

You should read up on Mike Rowe's thoughts. He's usually spot on.

Some people WORK for a living and other people VOTE for a living.

A generation of pampered children have turned into a bunch of entitled shits who think they "deserve" shit just because they're "special". They just see the results that other people get and don't see the hard work that went into it.

We're teaching kids to live under a bubble where nothing bad happens, and everyone get's a "participation" trophy - except for James Harrison's kids¹

Oh, and this is why we are no hearing about white "privilege". White privilege is having (on average) a 100 IQ and a 50-50 shot of having both of your parents and nothing more. These SJW morons you see in University hating on your CIS gendered white male privilege? They are going to get massively ass-raped by life the second they get out. The problem is, eventually there will be enough of them to outvote the rest of us and that's when shit will REALLY turn bad.....

I don't know, man. I only know 1 SJW with more than 1 kid and less than a handful with any. Those of us with loads of kids work our asses off and teach our children that philosophy.

That's not the problem. The problem is SJWs in education.

First, they raised taxes so the wives had to go to work, and they got to the kids sooner.¹ Now, they want pre-K at 3 and 4 years old, to get the kids away from the parents and fill their heads with evil shit. That's part of it. So is destroying the family, and replacing the husband and father as the head of the family with the State, which wants to start indoctrinating kids as young as 3 and have them until 22.

Think of how much bullshit, Disney-Dream Machine programming you had to shed to get here. Lots of people never make it that far.

This is why, if I ever get one past the goalie and become a father, that kid is going to be home-schooled, By Me.

It takes a lot more hustle than in the past.

It's a red pill that job seekers need to take also. Skills have to be learned on free time or in training programs often before you can even get an interview. The baby boomer generation is not experienced with this to guide the later generations.

It was not always like this. You used to be an apprentice and learn a skill on the job. Children of the rich went to ivory tower schools/colleges/universities for mental fapping. Now, most people have to be skilled before they get the job. So the apprentice route is mostly gone as jobs change more frequently but the ivory tower is still in la la land disconnected from the job market and wasting years of lives.

Strictly blaming others led to pogroms and anti-trade protectionism that only makes things worse.
