learn something new in bed (however I’m personally really against sex as a gift/the only gift)
new & fancy dessert
new & fancy meal
coordinate with his friends and see if you want to throw a party
hand make something that references your inside jokes or remind him how much you care (notes in envelopes that he could open in stressful times, a thousand origami paper cranes is said to grant you a wish, etc)
most importantly, shower him with love that day!!

A handwritten note or poem, massage and then sex with all the focus on him. Candle-lit dinner? Get popcorn and pick a movie he loves?

Try door dashing and ubering on the side if possible. Or babysitting. You can also work for instacart and shop for groceries for people. Save up some money and do a couples massage followed by a nice romantic dinner. Then when you get home you can watch his favorite movie.

Whatever you decide to get/make him, you can always spruce it up with a scavenger/treasure hunt. My husband loves that. I make up some clues and hide them around the house for him to find.

Most men don't want the little trinkets. No money? No problem. Cook him his favorite meal, bake him a cake, and take off your clothes to give him the good time he really wants.

Give him a day of worship. Go above and beyond. Massage, rub his feet... do the things he wants but you may not have the time or be too interested in. This can be sexual or just a hobby/interest. Rub his head or feet, put on soothing music or his favorite music. Pick up a favorite movie of his, or something new he wants to see. Do all the NEXT level stuff that women say they want men to FIGURE OUT. List all the things that he wants and enjoys beyond the most basic that you already do... and do them enthusiastically and with a smile!

My husband’s birthday is this week and I’m going to bake a small cake just for him which he picks + one for our guests. I also painted a little birthday card for him and let our toddler paint something for him too. I’ll decorate everything and buy him some flowers with some money I earned by selling things I didn’t need any longer. I think he’ll like it and I hope that maybe we’ll have a bit time together when our toddler is asleep.
