So I officially blocked my LVM ex from my life a few days ago after he got mad at me for establishing boundaries. I feel as light as a feather right now, and I genuinely don’t miss anything about him. All the anxiety, pressure, and stress that I felt, are no longer there. It was the first time I established boundaries without sounding passive aggressive (thanks to the help of my HV friend!) and it was still very difficult for me to do.

For the present and the future, I want to work on establishing boundaries without freaking out. When I think of establishing boundaries, I always think I’m being rude but in reality, it’s self respected. I guess during my relationship, I’ve been walking on egg shells for so long and establishing passive boundaries was all I knew to not make him mad.

I really want to break out of that cycle. If there are any resources I should be using, please let me know. I will definitely be discussing this with my therapist.
