My friends who have long hair are always getting complimented. Usually by bald guys who wish they had hair, but sometimes by women too.

I assume as long as you take proper care of it and it works for your style it would be a huge plus

It sounds weird, but I dyed my hair blonde (brown naturally) and am getting way more female attention then I ever have in my life. More then being jacked/having six pack ever got me. Not sure if that’s just because it works for my style but was seriously such a game changer.

Noticed most women like it, the ones who love it really love it. Only had 1 girl so far tell me she doesn't like it , but its mostly compliments from girls and being called fabio lol.

It was annoying. Took long to dry, more effort to make it look nice, gets in your eyes and face when windy, hair will get everywhere.

I got compliments on it but got tired of all the work that went into maintenance.

Everyone assumed I smoked weed.

The girls who wanted me complimented my long hair, and when I cut it, complimented my shorter hair.

Go with whatever you want long as it makes you feel confident and fits your style / personality. That's most important.

I have dreads down to my neck and put them in a ponytail with some hanging over my front like a curtain haircut

Girls love it and I look way more aesthetic

I’ve had girls approach repeatedly when Im out when I get my hair like this compared to before.

it frames my face well and I look more prettyboyish which balances well with my tall height and muscles

It immediately makes me different that all the clean cut Thomas's. Plus it gives me a way to relate to women that I didn't have before. Hair pulling tends to come up fast around me. It's annoying if I try wearing it down though, it's always bunched up.

It's a polarizing look. People in general seem to keep me a bit more at a distance because I stand out so much, but many give me compliments.

I'm white, but my eyes are a little squinty, so people always assume I smoke weed. Every time I've been pulled over for speeding, the cop asks if I've been smoking, and then asks extra questions to test my cognition.

On dating apps, I mostly match with "e girl" types: goths, emos, (crazies, usually). I seem to have a bit more difficulty getting a "normal" girl, but at bars, I have had several times where girls approach me and compliment my hair. Other times old rockers will open me and say "Oh back in the day I had long hair...", has led to some interesting conversations lol.

I'm into music a lot, and people assume I'm better at guitar than I am.

After getting to know more "clean cut" types, many of them will eventually suggest or outright tell me to cut my hair, when discussing future plans, style, girls, etc.

It looks non-masculine for most. Better to have some length and neatly groomed rather than full on surfer/metal head mop
