There is an old saying that you shouldnt attribute to malice what can easily be attributed to stupidity.

I once was at a girls house and her dog escaped. After us both chasing him down, I ended up having to lunge and tackle him gently (as he was about to escape my reach in a split second). Im 36. The chick literally said "Wow that was something, I bet you're going to feel that tomorrow!" and all was good in the world.

HOURS later after a shower I came out and said "Turns out I totally skinned my knee" and she asked "How did that happen?"... I looked at her, and jokingly asked if she was serious. This exchange went on for like 3 times. Eventually I said I have to go, I cant be with someone this stupid. She was dumbfounded. If it was gaslighting or a rouse I think she would have given it up and said "ooooh ya the tackle!" But no, she honestly seemed like she had no idea.

TLDR: She is either dumb as fuck, or gaslighting you. Regardless of which one it is, its not a good person to be around at all. She'll get your hurt, killed, thrown in jail, or pregnant and locked into child support.
