I was watching this short video where Ken Wilbur talks about meditation and how, traditionally, it was designed by men who were essentually staring at walls.

One of the audience members ponders what a female approach to meditation might look like had they developed it.

Ken answers this by talking about how the measure of a man is in his "unflappability", or his emotional stability (men don't show emotional weakness, amused mastery, outcome independence, etc.)

He then talks about how female mystics in the west would practice mysticism by "loving until it hurts" (showing radical acceptance of everything thats arising, moment to moment).

Both of these descriptions line up with RP understanding of male and female nature. We're all plainly aware of men's judgement based on control of emotion - but this also jives well with the common observations of women liking assholes, staying in abusive amd unfulfilling relationships, etc. The extent to which one can endure pain and suffering seems to be a unique characteristics of the feminine.

Thoughts?
