Abundance mentality and asking out and talking to many girls is the key to success. What happens when this mentality results in a lot of rejections and it starts affecting confidence?

My hometown is kind of a small town desert so it's already hard to find candidates, but the apps haven't yielded much of anything. I visited my friend in a city I'll be moving to over the weekend and we went out 3 nights in a row and I approached as much as I could but rejected everytime. Bars, clubs, tinder, bumble didn't matter. I got one girls Facebook info at a bar but she has a nice bf so obviously there was nothing there. Another girl gave me her number but made a face and never responded so possibly a fake number. It was depressing even tho I did have fun with my friend for a weekend after all this quarantine bullshit.

I come back home and ask out another girl whose also into anime and nerdy shit like me and she's like "yeah it would be great to have more friends into anime!" LOL you can't make it up.

I'm dealing with a major confidence hit right now and need advice. I'm in a weird time in my life waiting for grad school to start, I haven't gotten laid or even kissed in 2 years, I'm recovering from a porn addiction, and doing my best to get over OCD all during the end of this pandemic.

Other than eating right, exercising, abstaining from porn and keep playing the numbers game idk what else to do, but with each rejection after the other it's starting to hurt. Could use some advice or if nothing else some words of encouragement.
