Almost all my friends long term girlfriends systematically go about eliminating his friends one by one.

I am always the most difficult to eliminate because (not tooting my horn or anything) I am a really good friend and build up huge amounts of trust with them. But I often find myself dodging all kinds of bullets. Over the years however, I have come to find that their constant influence eventually gets to them and regretfully find that our friendship has seriously taken a hit.

They always start out super sweet, trying to win my approval but then over time they try to ween them away from any form of male contact. They move them well away and cut off contact (even with their families).

Maybe I haven't been a good friend because I idly stood by and allowed this to happen. I guess there's that (excuse the word) shaming tactic of the "bromance" and I've tried to avoid resembling anything that could remotely be misconstrued for being sad about losing my bromance. The reality is that I was so happy that they found someone they liked that I didn't want to take off their rosy glasses. Now really they are exactly like how Bill Maher describes his friends as being horses with blinders. They are like intellectually beaten cult members that have submitted their mind over to pussy.

What's worse is that they are now too far invested for them to wake up and even if they do, I fear they may be shadows of their former selves.
