So I used to talk to a girl I was attracted to and I constantly shot my shot but she told me because I didn't have a car (fresh out of high school might I add) that she didn't want me. Because the men she was interested in (drug dealers) had nice cars, among other things. I'm older now so clearly fuck her lol I shouldn't have been going at her to begin with. But that feeling still haunts me

The feeling that a woman's gonna judge me or make me feel little because of my current living or vehicle situation, or my credit still being fucked due to college. It kinda cripples u from having the audacity to ever approach anybody lol. But should it? Should I wait until my investments make me financially more comfortable or is it better to find someone when ur struggling so u got that romantic story of "she was by my side when I wasn't shit"?

And it's weird cause there's men with worst living situations than me, worse driving options than me if any lol and STILL out there attempting to date and shoot their shot. Hell I don't even have kids and some of these men got kids and babymama drama. That's an extreme level of audacity lol but currently, as for me, I think I'm just gonna be off the market until I get my shit together cause when u invite someone into ur world while it's in progress, ur kinda on the clock. When ur single u got all the time in the world. When ur with someone, it's like u only got so much time until they give up on u.

Granted I haven't found anybody I was super attracted to but if I did, I'd definitely play a mental tug of war with myself of "damn.. she's gonna have to wait til I'm a bit more successful" and "maybe she's a "ride or die" and willing to stick with me through this lil bullshit period of life"
