I was recently introspecting about how I arrived to where I currently am and I think I made some interesting observations I'd like to share.

Where did my blue pill tendencies start? During my introspection it occurred to me my blue pill tendencies started from a very very young age. Preschool to be exact. Boys and girls were treated differently. Boys were ostracized for being rambunctious and playful while girls were given emphasis for their feminine tendencies.

Noticing what was happening around me I started to adopt the more feminine tendencies for fear of punishment. As a result I became a very quiet and shy young boy. Worse, I started to self rationalize my actions through cognitive dissonance and I viewed those boisterous other boys as "wrong" or "bad" which was reaffirmed to me by my teachers. This was unfortunately self perpetuating and the more feminine I acted the more I would self rationalize. The constant reaffirmation by my teachers, feminist media, and even parents just made things worse.

Fast forward a few years and I'm now im in middle school. At this point the dichotomy between feminine and masculine boys has grown even more. About 90% of the boys are fairly similar to me while the other 10% found a way to retain their masculinity. My cognitive dissonance(or "Hamster" as you guys call it) was so strong that I actually loathed these other boys. I legitimately thought there was something inherently wrong with them and that I was "smarter" and "more understanding" than the lot.

Now that's all fine and dandy but here we reach the crux of the problem. With middle school came puberty and with puberty came sexual attraction and desire. Here's where it gets messy. Because of my conditioning I turned not to men but to women for my answers of attraction. Even though those boys were the most successful with women I still invariably thought of them as "bad". So I observed the girls instead and watched closely to how they acted and what they were saying. Unfortunately, my young mind wasn't quite aware of the idea of cognitive dissonance so when the girls would call those boys "assholes" I took their word for it and it not only reaffirmed my own self rationalizing beliefs but intrinsically led me to assume that I might better garner their attention by acting counter to these "assholes". Results be damned I thought, that's what I needed to do!

Enter high school which marked my "nice guy" phase. Filled with dissapointed romantic partners and "friend zones" galore. My entire life had been a series of perpetual and systemic "masculinity shaming". As expected from someone in a perpetual state of shame and guilt highschool was filled with confusion and angst for me. And ironically enough in my confusion I kept turning to the very ideals and principles that were causing the confusion in the first place. Like most men here, I eventually hit a low point, rock bottom if you will, which led me to the truth. The truth of course, being that I had been lying to myself my entire life.

I see now that I was shaped by what I call feministic indoctrination. This indoctrination caused me to internalize and guilt myself over the natural masculine tendencies I truly wanted to follow all along.

No wonder most of us can't help but be bitter.
